ESET Policies

Used to create / view all ESET Policies manageable by the ESET plug-in.

Creating ESET Policies:

• From the ESET Policies module.
• Click the "New" button.
• Enter a name for your new policy in the Policy Name field.
• Click "Configuration Editor" to bring up the ESET Configuration Editor.
• Create a policy in the editor, when done close it the editor and click "Save"
• When back to the new policy window, click "Save" to confirm your the new policy.

Assigning ESET Policies:

• From the ESET Policies module.
• Select the policy you want to assign to LabTech groups.
• "Click "Edit Assignment"
• Select LabTech groups you want to import from the left panel and click the ">" button to add them to the selected panel.
• When done, click Save.

Inheriting / Merging Exclusions & Schedules

The ESET plug-in for LabTech will allow you to merge exclusions and schedules down the LabTech group tree.
To allow a policy to merge with a parent policy, check the box "Allow Inherit / Merge of Exclusions & Schedules"
when editing a policies configuration.
